When we ask/cry for help, God knows the reason why we are crying out for, but are we truthful to ourselves why are we asking God for? Some even wonder why God never answer their cries or prayers.

God is silent when we:

1. simply ask for relief from harmful, painful effects of our selfish ways.
2. are simply asking for deliverance for our selfish ways,
3. asking out of greed.

To this kind of an asking/crying, God is silent. I think this is why our prayers are often unanswered. Our selfishness has produced agony in our life and all we want is to escape the penalty; we are not at all concerned about God himself and to be taught by God, learning by his hands and feet and to bring glory to him. And that is one reason for God's silence.

Why then do we then abuse our beloved God with our crying/asking?

Because we don't understand of the purpose, as such it is prone to abuse and/or it can be confusing.

If we don't understand why we are asking? We will abuse it and lose our direction.

Ask yourselves before asking God. Why are you asking? Be truthful to yourselves. Being truthful to ourselves is one of the hardest thing in this world. It's hard but not impossible.

Proverbs 26:11
"As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly."

This verse came upon me as I was just working today.
A very interesting verse.

That's quite disgusting isn't it? As you think about it, eating your own VOMIT??!!
If that disgusts you, then don't ever go back to it.
Whatever your "vomit" may be, past mistakes, past sin, wrong decisions, negative mindsets, erroneous mindset, stinking attitudes etc... you name it.

Can you imagine, you going back to your own mess again when you have already gotten out of it?

That happens to many of us if after we make a mistake or even a wrong decision yet we never learn from it. we will keep going back to our mess, our past that was not so glorious and for constantly going back to our past mistakes... the bible calls us fool!

I don't believe any of us wants to be a fool so NEVER ever return to your own vomit!

Pray for a vision from God once again so that you can go deeper with Him.
Let your relationship with God not be a shallow one, my dear friends.

Loving God is loving God.

Hey Guys,

Do u feel Unhappy and Guilty abt something u've done??
That may be the Holy Spirit working to convict you abt your sin.
So what do u do then??

When u feel guilty abt something, confess that sin to God and tell him u're sorry.
U're feel better when u're done that.
